Setting up ftp

Getting a error message, that says its having trouble connecting to server.

ftp address :       ftp.mysite.com

Port No:             21

Folder :              public

username :         account email address

password :         password for ftp

passive mode selected

website url:        classroompixie.com

The details above describe the parameters I am using to try to connect with ftp server to upload my website.

Previously used ESW with no issues and I have not configured the frontpage stuff which I understand blocks the ftp connection.

I am not on a free web space account and have full hosting package, I am using webplus x4.

Anyone have any ideas what I may be doing wrong?

Hi

You can find FTP Details for Hosting account under this help and support section. From the details you supplied it looks like it should be:

Host/server name - ftp.classroompixie.com
Username: classroompixie.com
Password: FTP Password

Passive FTP

I hope this helps

Kind Regards
