You would want to add a site map to your public folder. As long as it is in this folder however it can be placed just about anywhere. I've found http://sitemaps.org/protocol.php is a great resource for information on creating and placing site maps but unfortunately we do not have an application in our control panel at the moment to create one. There are also several tools available for free online to help in building/placing a sitemap. Try a quick google search for "create a sitemap."

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by making access to the webpage root folder but you should have access to this via ftp with your control panel user name and password. You can also create additional ftp accounts if you have "FTP manager" under "Security."  In this way you can give access to your public folder, which could be interpreted as your webpage root.

Hope this helps.

Hello and thank you for your reply.

After some other enquiries, it appears that the webpage has been stored in the 50MB free webspace by the use of the EasyWizardPro webpage builder and then publishing the webpage. However the free webspace has not in itself been activated via the myoffice page.

The free space page appears to be how to access the FTP area.

The myoffice page for the free space now requests a name after :     http://home.btconnect.com/____________

My webpage has already been launched at say www.1234.co.uk

What name is to be put in to the http://home.btconnect.com/__________  space?

Will this then effect the webpage which is found launched perfectly well and found perfectly well by search engines.

Thank you.
