Slowing Business Infinity

Hi

I had Infinity installed on the 7th Jan, when it was first installed I was receiving download speeds of 75+ Mbps, I was really impressed.  Since then there appears to have been several drops in speed, I now receive 60 - 70mps (don't get me wrong this is still great).  My concern is; will my speed continue to drop?  I have reset the modem/hub on several occasions, I've replaced the network cables to the hub etc.  Can anyone help?  Does my line/profile need resetting?

Thanks

Leave it alone!!! The more you play with it, the slower it will get. 60-70Mb/s sec is typical for the product and it shouldn't get any slower.

AdrianC is right, Dids, repeatedly restarting a router is interpreted as a 'drop' in connection, and the broadband circuit slows down in an attempt to compensate.

It's usual for broadband circuits to slow from their initial installation. They stabilise over the first week-to-ten-days and will then settle to the optimum speed for the line.

I suggest that you just leave it as is for a week or two and then report to BT if it slows any more.
