Hi Everyone,
Just needed some general information with regards to setting up a webserver? Basically i have one static IP and i was trying to port forward it to an internal address 192.etc? Now i have setup a webserver for testing purposes with a 192 address but cannot access it at all on the business hub? I have have done this many times with other routers etc and had no problem accessing the server via a static internal ip address but for reason it will not work with this BT Hub? Any ideas?
Regards

You will need to set up Port forwarding, Rockyuk. In the hub's user interface, click Settings - Firewall - Allow Applications, Pinholes and DMZ Mode. Click on the device in question in the device list, you will then need to check Allow individual application(s). Below that, there are two lists, on the left, ready-built applications which allow traffic through the firewall, on the right, the applications which are enabled for the device you selected.
If you click the Server tab, you will see a list of server applications, there is a ready - built web server application. Simply select it and move it to the right-hand list. Save it and that will be the firewall opened to allow traffic. You can, as an alternative, set up a user - defined application, it's pretty obvious and straightforward.
