I can see in the Back Office in my eShop that the VAT increase to 20% was implemented by BT last night. All my own retail and RRP prices have increased.
However, my website visible to customers still displays prices prior to the VAT increase. The strange thing is that when I put an item into the shopping basket then the new price for that item is displayed. Furthermore, all prices for all items on my website are now displayed at the new VAT rate.
What on earth is going on? Anybody else experiencing the same thing?

I just fixed it. I had "Page Cache" activated. I went into this tab and pressed the "Update Immediately" button and now all prices are displaying correctly.
Hi Graeme,
I checked my eShop today for any abnormalities like you described. I have found that everything seems to be in order. My prices have been correctly adjusted in the back office, and my customers' site displays the correct prices throughout browsing and checkout.
I am surprised there have been no glitches though!

My store (www.qgifts.co.uk) exhibited some strange transitional behaviour after the VAT change, in which the old prices were displayed on the listing pages and the updated prices on the detail pages. It seems to have sorted itself out now though, with consistent pricing throughout.
What I really hoped would happen is that my VAT-inclusive prices would remain the same as before the increase. I intended then to adjust all my prices manually to give sensibly rounded VAT-inclusive prices. Just for interest, and in preparation for the next VAT change, what should I have done to maintain my VAT-inclusive prices constant?
