I have lost my 'public' folder in ftp manager and therefore cannot upload my website. The BT help phone number takes me nowhere. I have emailed them, they've given me a case number but haven't responded to my enquiry.
Desperate to get my website back.
Hi Stephenreiduk,
I am very sorry to hear this has happened.
It does sound like your website has been hacked.
In this case, please can you ensure you run a virus scan of your computers and also ensure you update your FTP password via http://myoffice.bt.com.
If you could send me the domain or enquiry reference number via private message, I will get someone to look into this as soon as possible.
Kind Regards,

For many years earlier, I had a server at a company in Dallas. It was a good company, good server, but I had had it for years. I was stuck with old apache, old php, old control panel, scared to update because so many people had reported so many problems with upgrades of the program combos I was using. Plus I needed more memory and cpu ommph. I could purchase another full server and transfer things over while paying full price for both, but I kept thinking there most be a better way that would give me more flexiblity.
