What are server settings for usenet (news server)

Since move to 365 Outlook provision of email ......

my accounts have changed to email form pop.outlook.com  port 995  (via Thunderbid client)

What are the appropriate News (NNTP) server settings ?

Tried help desk they had no clue

FYI ... email works OK via Thunderbird only News is not working

Hi Argonaut,

Is this for the news groups?  I don't think there's a new news group server, but the details for the existing one is:

Enter display name, enter email address, enter news.btconnect.com

and there's usually a list of groups that can subscribed to.

Hi,

One extra bit of info.  If you get a login popup then leave the fields blank.

The reason for that is because the BT newsgroups are (were?) run by Meganews, and the pop up is a login for their system, not ours.

Might not be the case now, but it was last time I heard anything about it.
