What's Happened to Voicemail 1571?

Mackerg4

I have a couple of Blackberrys(ies?) on a BT OnePlan. We got them in August and amongst other things I set up the voicemail service using BT Voicemail 1571 which all worked fine.

A couple of weeks ago I went abroad and, before I went, I attempted to switch off voicemail so dialled 15710 to turn off all diverts. This didn't work and, instead of being connected to BT Voicemail 1571 I found myself connected to Vodafone's voicemail service with a recorded message inviting me to connect to the Vodafone connection service by pressing '1'.

Does anyone know what is happening here? How come I'm going to Vodafone's service? What has happened to the service, messages etc. I set up back in August on BT's Voicemail 1571?

Hi Mackerg4,

Can you private message me with your MSISDN number and some more account details please?

Thanks in advance

I've sent my account number and mobile numbers to Tracey in a private message. I'm afraid I don't know what my MSISDN number is or where I find it.

Hello there,

I'm also having problems with this, I call 1571, I get put through to the Vodafone Voicemail, and the service is not useable. I also cannot retrieve my Voicemail number, It only says, "Your voicemail number is + No Mailbox."

Has this problem been solved? If so, How would I solve my problem?

Hi,

Sorry to hear about your probelm with teh voicemail function. This should be a fairly straightforward problem to solve by calling customer services on 0800 800152 so they can adjust the settings on your account.

If they can't help you, then respond to this message and I'll try and get another solution for you.

Hope this helps
