Hi
I want to extend the range of my wireless network, but dont want to use an old router, am planning on buying a dedicated extender
Any advice?
Don't take this as a suggestion though, but for my experience, I get a better connection if I extend using a much better router.
Hi,
In theory any extender that works with wireless 'b' or 'g' should work, and if you have a Hub 3 you can add 'n' to that list.
Remember though that the extender isn't supported by the Helpdesk. If you can connect to the router directly, but not to the extender, then you need to go to the supplier or manufacturer.

From experience, I would suggest that you use normal Wireless Access points and cable Ethernet out to them.
