Why is this not advertised?

I’m staggered at what I’ve just been told by a BT technical guy. If it wasn’t so serious I’d be rolling around the floor laughing.

 

BT DO NOT SUPPORT FORMS WITHIN THEIR WEB HOSTING PACKAGES – BUSINESS OR OTHERWISE.

 

How poor is that!!! One of the most basic fundamental features and BT don’t support it. I was only told this after I pushed and pushed for a resolution to a problem I'm having.

 

I wonder how many other people out there are sitting waiting for forms to be emailed to them blissfully unaware that it’ll be more by luck than judgment if they receive anything.

 

I ran a little test and sent 18 forms from my website at around 10am and only ever received 9 emails back in. Out of the 9, 3 of them hit my inbox in the dead of night!!

 

I’m sure even BT can work out that that’s a 50% failure rate. Or to put it another way, out of 18 potential customers 50% think they are being ignored – thanks BT, you’re playing a blinder!!!!!!!!!

 

So people - by all means create forms on your webpage’s but don’t expect them to work and just remember BT couldn’t give a **bleep** whether they do or not!

 

And they call themselves a service provider.  I’ve got a few names for them!!

Hello PlateSpin.

 

Im sorry about the problems you are having. it is correct that we wont support setting up a form on your website however we can investigate any missing mail sent from that form to a bt email address.

 

To investigate missing mail issues we need to have 3 examples that have been missing for over 24 hours, from those examples we need the date/time sent the email address sent from and the subject.

 

if you can get that information to the technical support teams either on 08456007020 or on live chat at http://btbusiness.custhelp.com/app/contact/cj_cat/3789/session/L3RpbWUvMTMyOTMyMDk5Ny9zaWQvRGFvYWxNU...

they can escalate this case so the server logs can be checked to see exactly where the emails are going to.

I think it will be good if BT starts supporting like this,because many users will be there who all will get affected with this Smiley Surprised
