Anyone know how to fix this problem? Also what even causes this problem to happen in the first place?
Hi @Typhxio ,
If you have set the DNS in your PC thehn you will need to follow this guide to change this.
If you have set this on the router then you will need to change this manually, which i would not be able to help with.
If you have not set the DNS on your router or PC then you just need to turn the router off and leave it off for a full 5 minutes, when you reconnect BT will have given you a new set of DNS servers.
Hope this helps

Yep, I tried setting it to automatic and tried using other open DNS etc..
Even after restarting my router, the problem is I don't want to have to restart my router all the time when it happens. It's not a solution
Stil have the problems.

Hi @Typhxio
If the issue occurs when you set the DNS on the computer then i dont think this is an issue with the router, as the router would not be the device providing the DNS.
What happens when you disable IPv6 on the computer?
Thanks
