google analytics/web stats

can anybody throw light as to why google analytics records NO visits to my website in the last month, while according to my web stats on the bt website centre site I have had hundreds of visitors?

BT stats record 'hits' ,

these happen when somebody or something simply requests files from your website. 

Google Analytics

records only visitors who used a web browser (and had javascript  or cookies enabled )

Sounds like the Google indexing bot has been and had a look around, nothing to worry about.
