BT business say I owe them money and are threatening to cut me off -- I have been charged for a residential account even though I do not have it. On this account which I do not have I am actually in credit with BT. At last estimate they owe me £18.
BT residential have admitted they have made a mistake and have said they will send me a final bill - even though I do not owe any money ...
I have more for the residential bill than for the business quarterly bill. I am now told on the phone that I have 3 residential accounts - how that happened I have no idea - problems - also I am being charged for a mobile that I do not have.
If this situation is resolved and my line is shortly cut off my business will fail. I am drafting a complaint to OFCOM about this simple billing problem but I would like to ask this forum what are my options? I have very limited time before I am cut off.

Hi Rhinocerous,
I can understand how frustrated you are and I apologise for this however these forums are for BT Business customers to discuss how to get the most out of their BT Business products and services with other customers this isn't an area to raise a complaint, we are not able to resolve billing issues you would need to speak to billing team directly.
You can contact the business billing on the link - Business Billing
For the residential billing - Residential Billing
Kind regards
Tracey

Hi Rhinocerous,
As I have already advised you these forums are for BT Business customers to discuss how to get the most out of their BT Business products and services with other customers, I do not believe that any customer the forum will be able to assist you with this. However if you are still having an issue with contacting the billing team. If you private mail me with your Business details, I can pass these onto the billing team for you to call you back.
However I would like to make it perfectly clear that it is not ourselves here in the forum dealing with your issue it would be the billing team. I would also like to advise you again that we are not able to assist you with any billing issues and you can also contact the billing team directly on the links I have supplied.
Also you can contact the complaints team on any of these options - Complaint Contacts
Kind regards
Tracey
