help with blocking calls but still able to call family for dementia customer

my mother has alzheimer's , and so has been making wrong number phone calls every day, sometimes the people she calls call the police as they worried for her. I have contacted bt about having a block on the phone so she can only call her family, i spoke to two different people who said i can do that, but when i put the block on it blocked all calls. What i need is all numbers to be blocked from her phone apart from the 6 family numbers. we dont want to take her phone away and blocking all calls will not work either. She needs to keep her phone too as has big numbers,  so the bt6500 will be no good either.  There must be a way that bt can just have 6 numbers that can be called from her phone and no others, places like job centres can manage it. She has called 60 wrong numbers in the last 3 weeks and now has started calling 123 a lot too.  Please Bt can you help with this. im sure there are a lot of other people with dementia that would benefit from this too. There must be something you can do!

Hi alli1802

I realise you posted this a while ago and hoping you’ve already found the answer you needed, but just in case and for other members who might have a similar query.

There is a product called BT Network Controlled Calling which will allow you to set up 10 numbers that the person is allowed to dial and block other numbers.

To be able to order this, you need to do this throughs specialised team called BT Including you. if you click the link they will be able to discuss the needs and come up with a solution that best suits.
