how do I find out the exact colour of the template background?

Please can you elaborate on this?  With all due respect, your question doesn't make much sense.

I am wanting to insert text from a text generator as I cant see the easysite wizard gives you much choice in fonts and fx. Whenever I insert the downloaded generated text, the background colour doesnt match the template blackground so if I knew the HEX code of the template I can match colours.
