how do i add a TXT record to the DNS configuration on my Domain

Afternoon,

I am trying to set up my domain so that when someone does a Google search for my Domain it will show up, Google would like me to Verify that I own the Domain name and would need me to add a TXT record to the DNS configuration on the domain.

I have no idea how to do this and was wondering if anyone here would be able to help me.

Is the domain Hosted by BT,

If it is Login to Myoffice.bt.com and go into Manage Services,

once in their click Manage domain, then Manage against the domain you want to add the TXT Record,

Click on Advanced Domain View

Then you can add the TXT Record in their,

Other then this if you use the contact us Feature and speak to the Live chat team they should be able to do this for you, (if the domain is hosted by BT)
