I've been using the "Add This" button for quite a while until today when I discovered it interferes with the checkout process. This occurs when customer moves to "Address" stage.
A customer informed me that he noticed the padlock icon with red exclamation mark through it (firefox) and hover text "Warning: contains unauthenticated content". This was almost enough for him to abort the order.
When I tried it in IE I received an error message which stated "This page contains both secure and nonsecure......"
I've since removed the button but it is a useful little gadget, which is used on many websites. Even BT are using it on these Help&Support pages.
Anybody using it successfully, or know about this problem?
Hello,
try to use other HTML codes for social bookmarks. You can find them in the web, there are several websites offering this.
Create a user defined nav bar element in the shop under design ->advanced design -> and add the code into the WYSIWYG Editor.
Thw warning appeards, because the use https codes and that is why you get those errors in the browser.
