Hi all.
Please could someone tell me what the "Broadband Voice Business Geo Number Rental" means on my bill?
Many thanks,
Will
HI WillButler1
BBV geo is a mask for your broadband voice line I.E. your 0560, which you use for making calls over the internet via an ip phone, BTOC or standard phones via your BT router.
There is a charge of £2.99pm for this.
Hope this helps
Regards
Sean
Please can someone help me!
I can't get through to speak to someone at BT, everyone I speak to says I need to speak to another department, so I have to wait hours again in a queue, to be told again, I need to speak to someone else!!!
I set up BT Voice over in May, they couldn't get it to work, wrong hub etc etc Finally got it going on 17 June.
Now I've received two bills
One from 9 May for one account charging for BBV with inclusive calls (2 YR) for £5 rental charge a month plus VAT
(no problem - this was what I was quoted when I called up for help with transferring our office line)
Then I received a second bill from 17 June for a second account charging for Broadband Voice Business Geo Number Rental for £2.99 rental charges for £2.99 plus VAT
When I was trying to set up the voice over the second or third time, BT told me that the first order in May hadn't been activated.
So I think I'm being charged twice for the same service!
It shoudl be straightforward to clarify this with BT - but after several hours - dealing with their stupid system and constantly being transferred to someone who tells me I need to speak to someone else - I was in tears with frustration!
Help!!

Lynn,
I can only agree with you with regards to getting help and advice on BBV - I've spent hours in queues to only be told I have to speak to another department.. all the time tieing up my business line and missing potential customers.. just so I can get a second line so that customers can get through!! Argh!
