We have had our domain name hosted by BT and our emails (@ domain.co.uk) mapped to one of our btconnect email addresses for several years.
We are suddenly getting lots of undeliverable mail messages generated when people try to email us, with the message that our company email address does not exist. We have tried sending several test messages to our address from various personal email accounts and also from our @ domain.co.uk address but they are all bouncing back as undeliverable saying that our @ domain.co.uk does not exist.
What is going on? We are in the process of signing up several new clients and can't afford for our emails to be bouncing back to them and making us look unreliable and unprofessional and jeopardising our chances of getting the work.

Sometimes at BT end there was could be an issue with one of their outgoing email servers . It is better that you get in touch with the technical support team
Check your POP3, IMAP or SMTP settings to see if you all have the right port needed.

Thanks. I think that must be what happened as it sorted itself out in a couple of days and hasn't happened again.
