remove an old website

please could a kind soul explain how I remove (unpublish) a bt website that I don't want to use any more as the business is no longer active?

If you still have access to the webspace, start up FTP and delete the files from the /public/ folder, including any subfolders.

If you don't have access, contact support and ask them to do it.

Is that the sort of explanation you wanted or do you need more step-by-step?

If you want to keep the site files intact you can also enter your public folder and simply rename your index file to something else
