trying purchase private ssl certificate but error

Hi, i was trying to purchase a private ssl certificate for our website but each time i try i keep getting this error

ERR: Could not create Certificate Signing Request (CSR)

Is there a problem with the server or am i going to have ring to have this purchased and installed? i do have a free one installed does this have to be taken out before the request can continue? any help would be much appreciated.

Try to remove the free version and have this one installed. You can also contact BT for assistance.

Hi, thanks for the reply, thought the free one might cause this. Can't see a way to remove it there is no option to, that I can find, the ssl module has changed since i used it last, I think il contact support on the phone this is something I can't sort out myself I think. Can you give me a number for northern Ireland to ring? Thanks again

Hi,

Currently there is an issue generating the CSR via the BT Website.

In this case, please use the dns enquiry form at www.dnsforms.co.uk and we will generate one on your behalf.

Please include the following.

• Full name
• Company name
• Address
• Contact number
• Email address
• Domain name
