I have just started a BTbusiness broadband and calls package. I have received piles of bills, with different account numbers for different amounts, but mainly for rental over the same period. My on line billing says I have paid. I have tried to contact bt sales by e-mail on the phone help line, but I get nowhere. The last bill was threatening me with being cut off...BUT I am not sure what they are cutting off!! All I know is that it is wasting valuable time.
Does anyone know of a sneaky way to find a person who will actually sort it out?!!
Or am I left thinking about my old provider...

Hi
the best was to complain is to phone the call centre & go directly to sales as they will deal with your issue.
But it seems to me that your getting sperate bill for different products (Telephone & Broadband). once you have raised your complaint ask to speak to the one bill team as they can put all your accounts on to one bill making life easier for you.
Chrissi,
Not to dampen your hope but I spent 12 months, many hours, had phone cut off, internet site removed, both reconnected, and then internet cut off for two weeks because I refused to pay for a phone plan which had been put on our fax/internet line for which we had no phone connected. In the end ,last month from January 2010, we were given credit note. To add insult to injury you will find bt add a late payment charge on the bill you do not owe.
Having sorted that out, they have given us a new account number and billed us to september for the same service that our current account shows we have already paid. Do not expect a quick solution or believe their call centres when they say it has been amended on the system. I believe that all agrieved bt customers should get together and call bt to account, we all think it is just us but it is not and bt are taking us all for a ride.
