uploading MP3's ???

Hello everyone. I am very computer literate but am an absolute novice when it comes to having a website. My site is ready to publish but this is my question: I am a musician/songwriter and I am currently advertising for a singer for my project. Once I have a few applicants that fit the bill, I need them to be able to stream (or access) five of my tracks so that they can determine whether my music is for them or not. I have absolutely no idea how to achieve this with my site. The important thing here is that it must be streaming only and NOT downloadable. Any help here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in anticipation !

Can't be done.

Once the data enters the users web browser/ PC the website has no real control over it, in fact  several free browser plugins and software packages exist specifically to copy streaming media.

Even if you went down the (expensive) path of an encrypted player like the BBC  iPlayer this can be circumvented via a fifty pence patch cable between the speaker  and  microphone jack ports.

What you could do is add a 'click' track to the file thus making it easier for the singer to keep time and in return make it unuseable for anything else. Then it could uploaded to your site as a simple mp3 file and run through a local flash player, actual streaming tends to be a server resource hog and most hosting providers don't actually allow it (or charge extra for it).
