Upload Speed

Hi

 

Is there any way of increasing upload speeds?  Speedtest shows 6.25 d/l and 0.37 u/l.

At a guess you are on ADSL Max (up to 8Mbps) which has a download speed of 448kbps which translates to around 380kbps actual data.

 

Do BT offer ADSL2+ on your exchange?    If so and you upgrade then you would get around 900kbps upload.

 

Or - if it is still available BT did have a Max Premium product which gave 832kbps upload - but sacrificed some download to achieve it.    You would need a sales adviser who really does know teh products.

Hi Mojo, upload speed is usually slower than download since user seldom uses this than download. What is your current package if I may ask?
