My provider stated the following when told the broadband speed was dreadful:
When you say dreadful, are you talking of the speed of the broadband? Because at the moment you are on what’s called an outside area.
There is new equipment in your exchange that is business prioritised and has no effect on residency and can increase the speed of your broadband."
"We can switch you onto a new broadband at the exchange, faster broadband with better connection"
Trouble is that was in 2015 and it got worse. We are in Whitchurch SSWHI Exchange area.
