There has been wrongful categorisation of humblegrape.co.uk and vivatbacchus.co.uk
These sites are blocked by our BT parental Light filters but does not sell alcohol as it is a booking platform for the restaurants which are family friendly.
Their online shop, shop.humblegrape.co.uk which is back linked on our website but is a DIFFERENT domain does allow for alcohol sales. Does anyone know who I can contact to remove the block for the website?
Hi Kash16
BT parental light filters will be a residential service - this forum is for BT Business customers. I recommend you reach out to the Residential team, you can find their forum here: https://community.bt.com/

It seems there has been a misunderstanding with the
categorization of humblegrape.co.uk and vivatbacchus.co.uk under BT’s Parental Light filters. These websites are primarily restaurant booking platforms for family-friendly venues, not online alcohol retailers. While shop.humblegrape.co.uk does sell alcohol, this is a completely separate domain from the restaurant booking sites.
I would recommend contacting BT support directly to explain the situation and request a review of these sites’ categorization. BT may have mistakenly classified them due to their association with alcohol, but they are not primarily focused on alcohol sales. You can ask them to remove the block on the restaurant booking sites while keeping any necessary restrictions on the online store.
