Domain renewal "Transaction failed with bank"

When trying to renew a domain via the BT Domain Centre you might encounter an error message showing "Transaction failed with bank".

 

This is caused due to the BT Domain Centre not being 3DS verified and doesn't require you to contact your bank. 

 

In order to renew your domain/s when you encounter the error message, you can try the following:

 

If none of the above allow you to the renew your domain/s, please contact the BT domain name team using the steps below:

 

Go to https://business.bt.com/help/article/email-domains-options/
Click the Live chat link under Chat with Web Messenger (Available Mon to Fri - 9am to 4.30pm)
Click Start chatting
Enter domain renewal in the box provided and click the >
Click Fix a fault
Select No
Click Domains & Hosting
Enter your domain/s in the box and click the >
Enter your business name in the box and click the >
Enter your business address and post code in the box and click the >
Enter your full name in the box and click the >
Enter your account number in the box and click the > or enter NA in the box if don't have it to hand.
Wait for an agent to reply.

 

If you've got an active billing account with BT Business , the domain name team can look to renew your domain manually and request the renewal charges to be applied to one of your next BT bills.
