BT Landline Phone number

kenrwhite

Last year I had some building work done and my builder chopped through copper landline. This resulted in openreach laying a fibre cable for both broadband and landline calls. The problem is I lost my phone number of 30years and all my contacts tell me that they cannot get used to the new number. As far as I know the number has not been adopted and would like to know if I could purchase it and replace my existing number.

Hi Ken,

I'll need to check that your desired number is still available. It would cost £43 plus VAT to renumber the line. Can you send me a private message by heading to my profile and clicking "Send a Message" and let me know what your preferred number is please?

Thanks,
