BT have lost my business phone number

We decided to switch from Chess ICT to BT Business for broadband and landline.

The broadband connected with no problem, the phone line was supposed to be transferred over on Monday 13th April 2026, AT THIS TIME WE STILL HAVE NO PHONE LINE AFTER 5 DAYS!  Our business depends heavily on incoming calls for the service we provide including urgent and time-sensitive work.

I have called daily and have to explain the whole situation again and again with no resolve, one day being 7hrs long!

We have had the number for many years and the loss is destroying our business! Even worse, NO-ONE at BT cares in the slightest!

I have tried every form of contact with no result.  Ofcom wont get involved for 6 six weeks, but buy this time we will have no business!  

Please can anyone help?
