I have just been switch to bt broadband for a business phone line.
Business smart hub 2. With a Cisco desktop phone .
All working fine
Purchased a by advanced digital home phone with Alexa. To connect to the business smart hub2 .
Phone registers fine using wps . But says can't make calls . And that there no internet connection.
Smart hub WiFi ssid, and network password has been changed so I can identify it easier
Is there a compatibly issue with home phones via business smart hub 2?
Tech support on the phone was no help as it was purchased via Amazon and not bt
If you're using the Cloud Voice Express service, the handsets that BT provide (Cisco or Yealink) are the only ones that will be compatible with the service. Unfortunately, the advanced digital home phone you've mentioned is designed to work with the Residential equivalent of Cloud Voice Express, Digital Voice.
