Had a robo call saying our internet is being discontinued for illegal activities.

I had a robo call that said British Telecom is discontinuing our internet because of illegal activities and to press 1 to speak to an operaror or agent. I hung up before it could finish.

Has anyone experienced this? I want to double check it's a scam.

This is not something BT Business would do. For any issues such as this for BT residential please call 0800800150 to confirm all is well with your account or 0800800154 to confirm all is well with a Business account.
