I’ve been thinking a lot about how AI tools might change the game for small businesses. Right now they already help with things like drafting emails, managing schedules, or giving marketing suggestions. It’s a bit like having an assistant who never sleeps, doesn’t complain about overtime, and occasionally comes up with ideas so odd you just laugh and move on.
For me, the biggest impact seems to be:
Automating repetitive tasks (invoicing, scheduling, customer replies).
Making marketing easier with quick content ideas.
Helping owners save time to actually focus on growing the business instead of drowning in admin work.
Of course, it’s not all perfect. Sometimes AI gives you a suggestion that makes zero sense, but even that can spark new ideas.
So I wanted to ask: how do you see AI changing small businesses over the next few years? Do you think it will be a real competitive advantage, or just another shiny tool that some will use and some will ignore?
