We’re discontinuing our BT Website Builder service and our BT Managed Websites service from Thursday 11 December 2025. We will stop supporting these services from this date.
What this means for you
For more information on finding out who your domain registrar is and when it expires, go to our BT Website Builder help page.
What you’ll need to do
- For your website
You will need to move your website and hosting to an alternative provider, which may involve rebuilding your website.
Note: from 11 December 2025, you will no longer have access to the service, including:
- For your domain name
If you use the inclusive domain name from BT Website Builder, Network Solutions will email you soon letting you know how you can create an account with them to manage your domain name settings (DNS), and how they can be contacted if you need their support.
You will need to ensure your domain continues to be registered past its current expiry date to maintain ownership and avoid disruption. You can continue managing your domain with Network Solutions or use any other ICANN-accredited registrar.
We strongly recommend taking action as soon as possible to move your website before 11 December 2025, otherwise your website will stop working from this date.
