Hi Thirtythird,
Any standard 2 line phone should work with BBV. By connecting a handset such as the BT Converse 2025 could be connected to each port of the 2wire splitter with your 2700v router.
This wouldn't offer all the features of the BT Falcon phone however.

Sorry, I'm not aware of a specific device that will work in the way you describe.
Perhaps someone else from the forum may have an idea?
Alternatively, you could order a 1/2 BT Falcon phones and use in conjunction with BT Office Communicator. You would be able to make two simultaneous calls from the same 056 number this way.

The falcon is a rebranded Thomson ST2030. The ST2030 can support up to 10 lines, but BT choose not to support this functionality.
I'm thinking of buying an ST2030 and configuring it to work with BT Broadband Voice with multiple lines, but am slightly hesitant as I might not get the settings right.
Has anyone configured a ST 2030?

Hi StevenVU
We supply the ST2030 fully configured so you would not need to change the settings.
If you did go directly to Thomson the phone would not have our firmware and is not guarenteed to work correctly, the phone would not be supported and we can not give out the details to configure it.
If you did go down this road it would not be too hard to configure and someone should be able to help.
Regards

I've just bought the phone and it should arrive tomorrow. I've had a look at the Falcon and it seems to be running the V2.67 firmware. I'm just going to login to the falcon ip web admin page and copy each setting over. I don't think BT have loaded their own firmware, but rather are using APS (auto provisioning service).

Providing BT arn't doing anything funky with MACs, I think it should go ok. I'll let you guys know how I get on. Also going to play around with click to dial when I'd bored.
