Is it possible to use the Mitel 5235 VOIP Phones instead of the BT Falcon Voip Phones and still benefit from the same features.
I.e.
- Compatible with BT Hosted VoIP and BT Broadband VoIP services
- Multiline support for up to 10 simultaneous calls
- Advanced call handling features: Call Forward, Call Transfer (attended), Call Hold,
- Call display with Call waiting
- Conference call
- Integrated 2 ports 10/100 Ethernet switch with Support for Power Over Ethernet
- Multiple power options: power over Ethernet 802.3af and external power supply.
Thanks.

Hi Neil,
The BT Falcon is currently the only SIP phone available with BT Hosted VoIP.
We are however always interested to find out which phones people would like to use with the service, as this could be in scope of future developments.
Could I ask what features of the Mitel 5235 make it appealing?

Hi minicheddar,
I understand that the Falcon is currently the only SIP phone available with BT Hosted VoIP.
What I am saying is that I already have the Mitel 5235 VOIP phones, what I want to know is that instead of investing more in to the Falcons, can I use my existing Mitel 5235 VOIP phones with BT Hosted VOIP?
Thanks

Hi Neil,
Unfortunately we do not currently support these phones.
