Is this normal?

Im starting a new business and need internet and phone line.

I paid to go ahead with BT on the 27/03/12 they said I needed an engineer to come out so I would have to pay £100

Now they tell me I wont see an engineer untill the 16/04/12

Surely this isnt what they call good customer service.

Im not even mentioning the hassel I had when talking with someone in India

A very annoyed new customer

I work wtih some of BT's main competitors as an independant telecoms advisor and can assure that the current provider we are working with have award winning customer service with a UK based call center and could have had you up and running within 7 working days !!

We speak to hundreds of BT customers everyday that are just fed up with the way they have been treated or when trying to rectify faults and have to go through the whole process of phoning a non UK based call center to discover that by the time the information reaches the UK it is completely wrong and hence the whole circle of dis organisation starts again

I am sorry to hear that you have experienced such a major drama with BT !! Don't worry you are not alone as this is a daily occurance now as you wil see by looking at some of the horror stories on this forum and wish you the best of luck

If you need any independant advice please feel free to send me a message

Just say NO to BT and their Bulls***t....I did !!

Is this business or regular days? I think that's too long to get the service started.

You should ask for a reason why this is taking too long.
