Not sure if this is the right place to post but here goes...

Does anyone know if its possible to add merge fields in email newsletters send by Announcer Pro.

For example, I want to use the first name and list name from my contacts list in order to personalise the email to the individual recipient.

e.g.

Hello Joe Bloggs, .... for the mail sent to jbloggs@domain.com

Hello A Nother, ....for the mail sent to another@domain.com

The support for Announcer seems a bit limited, any help appreciated.

We supply Web tools for use by our customers as a way to get "non - professional" users going with as good looking and functional a website as possible.  It would be all too easy for us to end up designing customer's web sites for them or at least doing a substantial measure of the work.  Obviously, we can only go so far with this although we do provide a good level of support via the technical helpdesk.

I don't think anyone is asking BT to build our websites for us, but at the end of the day if you supply tools such as announcer pro to your customers you should be able to answer basic functionality questions such as the one I asked above.

I have assumed the answer to the original post is no, which is fine. All I was after was a Yes/No answer, and if yes, how!

The link you provided does not answer the question, in fact I'm getting a 404 error when I open the link you sent then clink the user guides link in the post. If there are more detailed user guides please let me know where they are.

Thanks for the updated link. I've had a quick search through the PDF and theres no mention of any merge field feature. So as I'd assumed, I don't think this is possible.
