BT informed me today that customers will only receive a free service if they actually ask for it. It is not BT's policy to volunteered the information. If you don't ask for free caller display (despite having it previously [before a cost was imposed] and even though you may have queried nuisance calls since) when your contract is up for renewal then you WILL NOT be offered it (even if it is free). This is a mean way of BT holding on to your custom longer because if you decide to take it later BT then tie you in for another 12 month contract/line rental. SHAME ON YOU BT! Where is your conscience? D you think this may affect your attrition rates?
Why don't you battle your way through the voice-automated service that will send you through ten different options that are nothing to do with your call, then get through to some half-wit Phillipino that can't understand a word you're saying before eventually getting transferred to someone in India that promises to get back to you, and guess what? He doesn't get back to you.....
