BT have stuffed up my account AGAIN!!

I have both Broadband and my Phone Line through BT.  The only reasno for this is so that I can use their all inclusive package and am meant to be on their OnePlan Plus service.  This was set up a few months ago and everything was correct.

All of a sudden, a couple of months ago they downgraded me to OnePlan Traditional.

This now means I am paying more for the Plan in the first place and am also now paying for most of my calls as this includes a lot less minutes than the OnePlan Plus service.

I have now spent over 3 hours on the phone to various departments, and when asked have forwarded order details etc. yet once again my new bill cmoes and it is WRONG!!!  and they have done NOTHING!!

Now, you need to bear in mind they did this to me last year as well.  At the time they removed the package completely but didn't bill for any calls for 6 months, suddenly landing a £2000.00 bill on my doorstep.  This nearly bankrupted my business as obviously I refused to pay it and they kept cutting my line off until they finally pulled their finger out and corrected the bills.  This did result in me losing my phoneline completely for a while and I had to have the whole thing set back up from scratch.  Fortunately at least this year they have only downgraded the package and our useage is alot less but it still means our bills are double what they should be.

Please can someone sort this out as the halp desk are, well, not exactly helpful as they do nothing and basically waste my time.  If I am late paying they charge me for this yet I can't charge them for my time when it is their fault.

I am letting it be known here that if I have to ring BT again over this I WILL be billing for my time, and I will NOT be paying my bill this month until this is sorted out and I will definitely NOT be paying any late payment charges either.

For the kind person on here that will hopefully sort this out (as this is the only place you can get anything sorted with BT as the rest are hopeless!), these are my details:

<Edited>

As I say, this was correct for a few months and if you view my previous bills, you will see that for my June 2011 bill it was correct then for the July 2011 bill BT refunded me a few days for the OnePlan Plus and billed me for the OnePlan Traditional instead causing my bill to double.  August's bill is just for OnePlan Traditional so is also double what it should be.  I also appear to be paying too much for the line rental and broadband but that is only a couple of pounds per month but maybe scrapping these 2 accounts and putting it all on the one bill (at the right price) might sort out the problem and prevent this happening again.

Still no responce from anyone within BT.  I was also advised to email this to spoc.oneplan@bt.com as they were the department that deal with this sort of thing and that they would reply within 2-3 working days.  Guess what, it has been 11 days now and still no reply!

BT REALLY ARE COMPLETELY USELESS!!

I am sorry that you haven't had satisfaction regarding your billing issue, basil3legs.  The correct way to raise a complaint would be to contact the department in question and insist on speaking to a manager.  They will take ownership of the issue and resolve it for you.  Any BT employee will be happy to supply you with their name and will refer you to a manager on demand.

How could they just down grade you? Didn't you have a contract? they must have sent you something - even if just the 'welcome' letter.

They messed up a new contract with me too recently (overcharged) but luckily I'd noted down dates &  rental  charges agreed,  they checked the recorded call & are honouring the agreement.

Think too many customers don't even bother to check their bills & errors go unnoticed.

Try to speak to someone in the UK - the rest are a waste of time.

I almost switched my broadband to BT too because of the good packages available - thank goodness I didn't!

Too many eggs in one basket doesn't necessarily make a great omelette!

Try Zen for business broadband - brilliant, reliable service & simple, clear contract of just one month duration.

Not the cheapest but not expensive either. Good luck!
