BT's computer system should be improved to work with one email address for all products

I'm Secretary of a local Sports club and we may be about to upgrade from BT Sport 1 to BT Total Sport.

 

This seems like a good time to go paperless as well, saving £4 + VAT per month. Not huge but every business needs to make savings.

 

The only problem is that BT's computer system can only accept an email address once. I already use mine for my Home BT account so if we go ahead I'll have to set up another two email addresses - one for BT phone/broadband and another for BTSport -  which I'm reluctant to do, to be honest.

 

I have two personal utility accounts with one provider - I also have two Club utility accounts with a different provider. Both providers have a computer system that allowed me to use the same email address twice.

 

Why can't BT? As a leading Comms company surely they should have. Have they plans in this respect? Will someone please feed this into BT for me?

Thanks for your feedback, I've sent it through to our Online team.

 

I know this is frustrating and it is something we're working on.

We have a lot of different internal systems and, as can be usual with these things, some are complicated to integrate, so we have to do some more development before we can fix this issue. 

I realise this is not very helpful to you in the short term, but hopefully it's something we'll resolve in the future.
