Hi all,
I've noticed that I'm getting a vast number of warning messages in the BT2700HGV System Log, as follows:
WRN 2010-09-13T12:17:25+01:00 nodesd: unable to sync data: No such file or directory
WRN 2010-09-13T12:41:18+01:00 nodesd: Previous log entry repeated 20280 times
Has anyone else experienced this, and know what to do? It seems to be trying to contact a server somewhere at least 30 times a second - this seems madness!
Performance is not as good as it used to be, so I'm not sure whether this might be having an adverse effect.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Peter
I think it's an issue where the network table is failing to update. How many PC's do you have on the network? Can you also check Settings> Private Network> Statistics, under Private Network DHCP Info it should display how many Remaining DHCP slots you have. Could possibly be caused by a saturated DHCP table, you can either clear the device list or lower the DHCP timeout to 2hrs or so.
Thanks for the suggestions.
I've only 3 PCs on the network, currently it's showing DHCP slots as Allocated:7, Remaining:183, so that doesn't seem to be an issue.
Any other ideas? Latest entry in the system log is showing the error "Previous log entry repeated 581643 times" !!!
Peter, would you be able to PM me the serial number of your router and i'll see if I can gather more data to try and track down what's causing the issue?
