Help me understand why i have been charged an extra £49.74 on my bill after asking for a free regrade of my broadband
the lady on the phone said something about a berated charge, i pay by direct debit, and haven't cancelled anything, i just want my speed upgraded from adsl max (business) to adsl Next Gen, without having to pay extra
I don't even know what bereated means.

Perhaps this could fall under miscelaneous charges? Btw, what did the lady say about berated?
she did say it was a one off charge, but to me, adding an extra £50 to a bill for a free upgrade, is not a free upgrade
she said it was an advance charge, according to the bill, it's 'new charges for enhanced care' which i didnt ask for, i asked for a free regrade of my current business broadband (upgrade from adsl max to adsl next gen), she did say that it included enhanced care, but didn't tell me there was an extra charge for that.
i'm pretty certain, i asked a couple of times at the time of ordering, if it would cost any more, and was told no
no one interested in this then, fair enough
