Hi I read loads of problems related to mac and bt email i have had problems tried alsorts to get setting right in the end i gave up i went in to my account email account and fordward all bt mail to my mac email address only way to save all the messing about with my settings jobs a good one done

Well it's certainly one way of doing it.  At least up to the point where it breaks and you have to take it off again so that we can figure out what's going on.

Email forwarding is like a really sticky plaster.  Yes it will cover a wound, but it'll hurt like hell when you have to take it off.
