We currently have a Business Hub 3.0A (software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.94.1.49 (Type A) Last updated 28/05/15)
We use all the ethernet ports and wireless. Straightforward setup, no static IP, no VPN etc. It is used for our Church pc, laptop, wireless printer and AV system. Also any members with the wireless code have access, so mobiles, pads etc connect too.
The problem is that the Ethernet rarely works but the wifi works most of the time - though I sometimes have to reboot the router for this to work. The lights on the router show no problem - all steady blue.
BT have already sent us a replacement BH3 but the problem has returned and if anything is getting worse.
I have tried connecting the ethernet ports directly to a laptop (more than one) to reduce the chance of a cable problem, but again only the wireless works.
Any clues as to what the problem is ........ could it just be another duff router?!?!?!
