We have 2 lines on the same number (i.e. a main line and aux line). Both have featureline compact.
To divert all calls (from both lines) I can dial *121*9<number>#
I want to know how to divert one of the lines only (in case there is only one person in the office). I have been told 2 different things by 2 different bt customer service reps, neither work:
1/ *21*9<number># from the line I want to divert
2/ *121*21#<number># from either line (the additional 21 is the extension number of the aux line)
Does anyone know if what I am trying to do is possible, and how to achieve this?
I was told before I bought the additional (aux) line that it would be possible - at best I have been misinformed about how to do it, at worst I have been mis-sold a product that does not do what I was told it would do.
Hi rlt,
I have not been online for a while, hence the late reply. Hopefully someone has responded and the problem is rectified.
To switch on Call Divert
To switch on *21*
then extension number or 9 followed by #
to check *#21#
If you have a hunt group activated it would be
To switch on *121*
then extension number or 9 followed by #
to check *#121#
