Can't see wordpress install admin...?

Hello Support,

I know this has been covered in previous posts on the forum. But I'm TRYING to install WordPress, which I know is a third party program and you don't offer support for it.

I've created the database, user name & passwords. Uploaded (twice now) the wordpress files. And I'm just want to run the installer script, but NONE of the files are showing in the browser...?

I've followed the other post suggestions of deleting all files and uploading them again, checked the server requirements, etc and nothing.

Can some one please help, this is for a client and he's changed in access details so that I can do this and need to change them back.

Domain is: www.eyec-ukandireland.co.uk

WP install: www.eyec-ukandireland.co.uk/wp-admin/install.php

Thanks

Wayne Ansell

Hi Wayne

You would need to follow the process below and this then will allow this to work

please let me know if have any issues

Wordpress install Unzip the package in an empty directory and upload everything. Open up wp-config-sample.php with a text editor like WordPad or similar and fill in your database connection details.*** Save the file as wp-config.php and upload it. 4. Open wp-admin/install.php in your browser. This is a walk through the install. *** DB Name DB Username DB Password Local Host (For BT this is 209.235.144.9)

Is there anything I can do to sort this please. Its not a problem with WP as all the files are there and can be seen through ftp.

Have I missed a setting on the server, please help.

Try these instructions from Wordpress.org:

http://codex.wordpress.org/Login_Trouble

If the above link does not work, google: can't see wordpress admin login and the above link will appear at the top of the results.

Thanks for the reply webby, but is I can't even see the install.php to install it? Let alone login.

But dispite that I've gone through the tip on the WP website you gave and still nothing.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Wayne
