I have had BT hosting package with a primary domain for several years and have recently created 4 new domains.
I had no problems forwarding the first three non-primary domains I created a few weeks ago but cannot forward the fourth domain I created today. I know I have to use IE not Chrome. But when I try to set a forwarding address either with basic domain manager or advanced domain manager it will not allow me to forward either the @ or the www names because it says there are conflicting records and the changes are not saved. I see that two A records are disabled - and it will not allow me to delete them so I assume this is the reason. But this new domain I created today is not the primary domain and my other three non-primary domains did not give me this problem. What can I do to forward my new domain?

The 'A' records (which were greyed out) have now gone and I can now forward the domain. Not sure if this is something BT just did for me as a result of a problem report, or whether it would have happened anyway simply by waiting. It does seem to be a common problem though.
A separate problem is that you cannot use Advanced Domain Manager with Chrome, you click Save changes and nothing gets saved. Its OK with IE. I hope BT will fix this.

With all domain name registrations comes a propogation period. This is the time in which the domain name will need to attach itself to the appropriate nameservers to acquire a zone record. This period can generally take between 12-24 hours and at the end of this period the domain will then be fully functional.
