I recently purchased a domain name but did not receive an email confirmation, so I bought it again. Again, I did not receive an email confirmation. However, I sent an email to Ian, in the Domains team, who has assisted my company before. He is extremely helpful.
He replied almost immediately and explained that there is a problem registering domains with BT but he sorted my issue out quickly. Without asking, he offered 4 years instead of the 2 years I had paid for, as a gesture of goodwill. Having just received my credit card statement, I have been charged twice. I have tried to contact Ian on his email but he must be away as he normally responds very swiftly.
Can you please tell me who to contact, so that I can get a refund for one of the domain purchases?
