Our website was previously created by BT but it's since stopped being updated and as a small business we would much rather be in control of it ourselves.
So far I've set up my FTP and worked out usernames etc (I think). Trying to install Wordpress though I think I've not done something... It keeps showing a 'DB Connect:' error message (doesn't say what the error is).
Am I right in assuming the new username, password are the same as the business (I can make it up basically)?
Would just like some slight clarification for the steps to getting to Wordpress and getting beyond this error for a newbie!!
