I'd like someone to double check if the new dns settings for my domain name pontresourcing.co.uk are correct - I'm hosting the website on another server.
The control panel has very limited functionality and some options to change in dns records are disabled.
The settings I need are:
79.170.44.156
* 79.170.44.156
ftp 79.170.44.36
mail 79.170.44.56
ns1 79.170.40.2
ns2 79.170.43.3
www 79.170.44.156

I have removed the locked records for your domain and you should be able to update these right away.
If you wish to change nameservers, please use the nameserver re-point form at www.dnsforms.co.uk and this should be completed in 1 working day.

BT Business Domains
Hi, I recently requested the change of name servers for pontresourcing.COM using the dedicated form. I decided to keep the email account with you. Below is what I got from your colleagues:
To ensure your emails continue to work on BT's mail servers you must contact the host of the Name Servers and ask them to point the MX record for your domain name to ibmr.btconnect.com.
Apparently they forgot to add I also need to add A record that will direct e-mails to the IP of a mailbox.
Would you advise the IP please.

I have looked into this and you appear to be currently running your own mail server and checking online tools seems to be pointing to the correct IP address so no further action is required as this appears to be set up fine.
If you wish to contine to use the BT mail services, please can you reply to my colleagues email who will be able to assist.

Thanks, it's not fine, as I want to keep the email account with BT - this is what I requested when filling the form - your colleagues apparently ignored my request. I cannot reply to your colleague as the email was sent from email account that doesn't accept any incoming correspondence. I would appreciate your further assistance.

You should only need to add the following MX record.
MX - Priority (10).

Value - pontresourcing-com.mail.eo.outlook.com
There is no further A records to add.
